He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie I. Hardy (Thomas) and Kenneth D. Hardy; his children, Gary W. Hardy II and Bethany A. Hannaford; his brothers, Ronald K. Hardy, John R. Hardy and Charles D. Hardy; and his wife Sherry Hardy (McAllister).
He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Hardy (Mary) of Nacogdoches, Texas and Jacqueline "Jackie" Falsetti of Lewiston, NY; his sisters-in-law, Linda Hardy (Winker) and Jeannie Hardy (Nanula); his former wife Carol Pawlak (Gentile); his friend Gary Harris; and his family, Jennifer Pokoj (Greg), Mark Huffman, Kim Lewis and Michele Bennett (John). He is also survived by five grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews.
