He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dooher and Agnes Catherine Dooher (Dowling); and his siblings, Peter Dooher, James Dooher (Annette) and Kathleen Dooher (late Gerald).

He is survived by: his wife Ellen Dooher (Mills); his daughter Meghan Robb (Kevin); his grandchildren, Edward 'Teddy' and Catherine 'Cate'; and his siblings, John Dooher (Anne), Elizabeth DiCamillo (Thomas) and Mary Ellen Piotrowski (James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
