He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Atkinson and Betty Atkinson (Myers). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Tomaszewski); his children, Rhonda Vekich (Shawn) of Niagara Falls, NY, Randall Coughenour (Rushia) of Belleview, FL and Renee McKenzie (Jason) of Tonawanda, NY.; his grandchildren, Kaila Ochoa (Nicholas), Madison Vekich, Randall Coughenour, Tyler McKenzie, Connor McKenzie and Kaylee McKenzie; his brothers, Gary Atkinson of Niagara Falls, NY and Gavin Atkinson (Terry) of The Woodlands, TX; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Tomaszewski (JoAnne), John Tomaszewski (late Rebecca) and James Tomaszewski (Loretta). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Niagara Hospice or Tunnels to Towers.
