He is survived by: his wife Martha Mitchell (Tanner); and his children, Allyssa Mitchell, Kathryn VonSchrott (Mitchell), James Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Jesse Mitchell and Jacob Mitchell. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
