He was predeceased by: his father Warren Akers; and his siblings, John and Lois. He is survived by: his mother Gail Akers (Bedard); his significant other Arnold Hallifax; and his siblings, Melissa Guyett, Linda Secore (Kevin), Marlow Akers (Karen), Gene Akers (Sunny), Ricky Akers, Louellen Carroll and Lisa Runyon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Niagara Falls American Legion Post #0381 (923 Niagara Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305).
