He is survived by: his mother Gail Akers (Bedard); his significant other Arnold Hallifax; and his siblings, Melissa Guyett, Linda Secore (Kevin), Marlow Akers (Karen), Gene Akers (Sunny), Ricky Akers, Louellen Carroll and Lisa Runyon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
