He is survived by: his sister Christine Chase; his children, Brandie Hill, Jennifer Payne (David), Jessica O'Grady (Erik), James Hill II, Heather Aronica and Margaret Garito-Hanna (Thomas); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Julie Redmond, Gianna Ciffa, Noah, Andrew, Chloe Sieck, Davion, Elijah, Damari, Nazariah Payne, Erik, Lydia O'Grady and Hailey Hill; his sister Janice Lewis (Theodore); and his siblings' children, Angela Fiorucci (Marco) and Phillip Chase (Christine).
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
