With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James M. Rivers of Niagara Falls, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Rivers and Alice Rivers (Kane); and his brothers, William Rivers, David Rivers and Timothy Rivers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurel Brydges (Darin), Alison Rivers (Shawn Wignall) and Adrienne Perno (Anthony); his grandchildren, Courtney Schreiber (James), Jenna Brydges (Sean Li), Michael Brydges, Simon Brydges, Mason Wignall, Miles Wignall, Jamie Perno, Lyla Perno and Audrey Perno; his great grandchildren, James and Lorelei; and his siblings, Martin Rivers (Judie), Marjorie Breed (late Michael) and Daniel Rivers (Rita). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings in honor of James Rivers, may be made to the American Legion Post #1142, 8643 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
