He was predeceased by: his wife Marge (Pharo); his son David; his parents, Irene and George; and his siblings, Elizabeth and George.

He is survived by: his daughter Karen McKeehan (Mark); and his grandsons, Michael J. and Daniel D. McKeehan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
