She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lindbloom and Mary Lindbloom (Irving); her children, Judy Schneider (Martin) and Larry Root; and her siblings, Joyce Beck (late Paul) and George Lindbloom (late Anne Marie).

She is survived by: her significant other Karl E. Bauer; her son Lee Root (Shirley); her son-in-law Martin Schneider (late Judy); her sister Janet Gantz (late Frank); and her daughter-in-law Gail Root (late Larry). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
