He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Zientara; his brother Glenn Zientara I; and his mother-in-law Judith Sauberan (Krehan). He is survived by: his mother Diane Zientara (Hartman); his children, Leonard Zientara II, Joseph Zientara and Taylor Ahmed (Zientara); the mother of his children Sandra Zientara (Sauberan); his close friend Ronale Baum; and his brother Corey Zientara (Kelly). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, donations will be collected by his daughter: Taylor (Zientara) Ahmed, to sponsor a youth fishing award in Leonard's memory to be distributed through the LOC Lake Ontario Sportfishing Organization.
