She is survived by: her mother Helen Elizabeth "Betty" [Long] Emes; her brother Christopher Emes; her nephews, Ian Emes and Todd Snyder; her close friend Savannah; and her pets, Lucy, Ricky, Athena and Cronus. She is also survived by friends, colleagues, students, and parents.
