She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis McAlee and Isabel McAlee (Wendt); her husband Anthony J. Longo; and her sister Deborah McAlee. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Wollen (Keith); her grandchildren, Christopher Shank (Julianna), Sara Shank and Kelsey Shank (Branden Bey); her great grandchildren, Shaylee Martin and Owen Shank; her sister Francine McDonald; and her brother-in-law Arthur Briglio (late Josephine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, honoring Muriel's lifelong love of animals.
