She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert G. Glant and Alvina Glant (Aderman); her daughter Tammy Mercer; her siblings, William "Billy" Glant, Linda Amrude (late Conrad), Bonnie Abel (Kenneth Michel, Sr.) and Connie Laskey (Paul); and her nephew Kenneth Michel, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband David A. Hammond; her sons, Mark Mercer (Angela) and Robert Mercer, Jr. (Carrie); and her grandchildren, Joshua, Molly, Stacey, Nancy, Alexis, Kacey and Gavin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
