He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph A. Nicholas Sr. and Edna Nicholas (Harris); and his former wife Jennie Nicholas (Kaider). He is survived by: his wife Betty Nicholas; his son Ralph Nicholas III (Elaine); his grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Maya, Sagan, Wren, Eliot, Tyler and Brayden; his stepdaughter Darlene Rowles (Rich); and his daughter Clara.
