He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Braas and Mabel [Gates] Braas; and his siblings, Virginia Zeifang (Bernard), Marilyn Carr (Jack), Patricia Irish (Rod) and Paul Braas (Tanis Pedlow).
He is survived by: his nephew Jack Carr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 32 great nieces and nephews and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
