He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Bennett, Sr. and Annie Whigham. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Bennett (Wideman); his daughter Lyria K. Bennett; his stepchildren, Darius M. Bryant, Laricuss Nelson and Deker Milton; his siblings, Al Whighman (Minnie Swanson), William Arrington, Dorcel Arrington, Nicole Ketcher and Michael; and his sister-in-law Valerie Wideman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

Memorial donations in Robert's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
