He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dorato and Lena Dorato (Janese); and his siblings, Frank Dorato, Michael Dorato (Margaret), Paul Dorato, Jr. (Nancy), Caroline Sciortino (late Thomas) and George Dorato (late Maxine).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dorato (Colosi); his children, Linda Irving (Tom), Robert Dorato, Jr. (Denice) and Roxanne Dorato; his grandchildren, James "Jamie" Irving (Tracy), Marissa Huntsman (Christopher), Christina Dorato, Dalana Farns (Joseph), Robert Dorato, III (Jen) and Joseph Dorato; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Carissa, Christopher, Tyler, Gina, Olivia, Ethan, Robert IV, Amelia and Armani; and his pet CoCo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial offerings may be made to the American Heart / Stroke Association and Alzheimer's Association.
