He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tavano and Mary Tavano (Cubello); and his brothers, Lewis Tavano (Nanette) and Samuel Tavano (Sheila). He is survived by: his wife Josephine A. Tavano (Muto); his children, Kelly Michael (Kevin), Kathy Urban (Julian) and Robert Tavano, Jr. (Lynette); his grandchildren, Marissa Rogers (Gary), Kayla Michael, Jenna Michael, Robert Tavano III and Korena Tavano; his great grandchildren, Liliana and Ryan; and his in-laws, Tony Muto (Joan) and Vince Muto. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
