He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Pennington and Rose Pennington (Pierangelino); and his brother John H. Pennington. He is survived by: his wife Doraine Pennington (Mantell); his children, Robert N. Pennington (Meghan) and Diana Pennington; his grandchildren, Nicholas Pennington, Lauren Pennington and Abby Kolpack; and his stepchildren, Jamie Naus and Michael Naus (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Niagara Hospice House.
