He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli L. Roffle and Evelyn J. Roffle (Shardon); his sister Judith Roffle; and his brothers-in-law, Gregory Roszel (Terri) and Tom Lodwick (Joan).

He is survived by: his siblings, Terri Roszel (late Gregory), Joan Lodwick (late Tom) and Richard Shardon; and his nieces and nephews, William Clingan, Eric Roszel, Aaron Roszel (Christina), Jillian Heller (Tim) and Trina Hy-Thompson (Al).
