He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Metzler and Evelyn Metzler (Greene); his wife Joanne Metzler (Laraba); his children, Mary Alice Kowalski (William), Thomas Metzler, Jr. (Ann) and Jeffrey Metzler; and his siblings, Patricia Davis, Charles Metzler, Richard Metzler, Nancy Jablonka and Susan Metzler.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stephanie Nethaway (Kyle), Laura Kowalski, Robert Metzler, Ryan Metzler and Grace Metzler; and his sister Linda Herman (Martin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
