He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Evans; his parents, Clarence Evans and Lena Jacobs; and his sister Norma Clements (David Jacobs). He is survived by: his children, Sheila Evans, Glenn Evans (Rajitha), Sherri Batterson and Gregory Evans; and his sister Cynthia Bowe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
