He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riggi and Lillian Riggi (Wackett); his wife Bettye Ann (Napier-Rutkowski); his sisters, Patricia Bloom (late Ronald) and Barbara Paduano (late Edward); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Nolan (late Louis) and Sharon Cardamone (James); and his nephew Keith Krieger.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hennegan (Sean) and William Riggi (Julie); his grandchildren, Patrick William Hennegan, Alexander James Riggi, Allison Grace Riggi and Adalynn Rose Riggi; his nieces and nephews, Michael Cardamone (Danielle), Janelle Cardamone (Aaron Mierzwa), Gina Vallari (Richard), Ronnie Bloom, Jeffrey Bloom, Laurie Nulph, Jaime Napier, Sid Johnnie Napier, Kim Vitale and Michael Nolan; and his brother-in-law James Napier (Norma).

Memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Niagara Hospice.
