We announce the death of Barbara Irene Race of Nichols, New York, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rufus and Minnie Irene Frear (Smith); her husband Melvin O. Race; and her sister Dorothy Park. She is survived by: her son Melvin C.; her daughter-in-law RuthAnn Race; and her close friends, Larry and Tara Crawn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Windham Center Community Church (35 Church ln Rome, pa, Rome, PA 18837).
