She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Romain and Vivian Anderson Borthwick; her husband William Joseph Carey; her son William J. Carey Jr.; and her brother Bruce Borthwick.
She is survived by : her brother John (Ute Borthwick) of Suffolk, VA; her children, Christine (Fred Daniels), John (Lori Carey), Timothy (Cecilia Carey) and Susan (Jonathan Broderick); her grandchildren, Jessica, Sean Hughes of Rotterdam, Molly, Christoph Tallerico of West Hollywood, CA, Gabriel Carey of Ann Arbor, Margaret Daniels of Colonie, NY, Diego and Daniel Carey of Rock Hill; and her great grandchildren, Jayla Ryan, Josiah Davis of Colonie and Olivia Tallerico of West Hollywood. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
