She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Cohen and Sarah Karasik Cohen; and her brother Karl Cohen. She is survived by: her husband Bradford Ruthberg; her daughter Dr. Kara Schubert; her grandchildren, Lillian and Jackson Schubert; and her son-in-law Dr. Paul Schubert.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Ridgelawn Cemetery in the King Solomon Memorial Park (550 Dwasline Rd, Clifton, NJ 07012). A reception was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Ruthberg Residence.
