With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Weiskopf of Niskayuna, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Lawrence Weiskopf; and his parents, Ivan Weiskopf and Edith Weiskopf (Lightman). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Weiskopf (Borisoff) of Sarasota, FL; his children, Jeffrey Weiskopf (Rachael Sokolowski) of Sleepy Hollow, NY, Daniel Weiskopf of Portland, OR and Jennifer Olson (Bryan Olson) of Denver, CO.; and his sister Susan Newmark.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Congregation Gates of Heaven (852 Ashmore Ave, Schenectady, NY 12309). A shiva will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Delmar. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at the Heaven Cemetery (852 Ashmore Ave, Schenectady, NY 12309). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Delmar Friday and Saturday.
