He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Craine and Alice Craine; his siblings, Johnny (Mickey), Dennis (Carol) and Mary Alice (Jim); his wife Trudy; and his children, Robert, Jr. (Leah), Kevin (Annie), Daniel (Michelle) and Andrea (Tim). He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made in his honor to the Nissequogue or St. James Fire Departments.
