We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Elmer J. Deshane (Norfolk, New York), born in Berlin, New York. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Elmer J. Deshane to show support.

He was predeceased by : his granddaughter Marissa DeShane; and his brother Harley "Louis" DeShane. He is survived by : his children, John DeShane, Brian DeShane, Bruce (Amy DeShane), Kevin DeShane, Elaine (John Hollander) and Becky (Rusty Crump); his siblings, Robert, Hazel DeShane, Edward DeShane, David, Marlyss DeShane of Eaglebridge, NY, Jerry DeShane of Hoosick Fall, NY, Rick DeShane of Petersburg, NY and Richard "Dick" Johnston of Burke, NY; his aunt Georgina Moody; his mother-in-law Verda LaMora; and his wife Janice M. LaMora. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and brother and sister.

The family wishes to thank members from St. Lawerence Valley Hospice and the CPH Center for Cancer Care in Potsdam for all the help and support during Elmer's sickness and wishes any memorial donations be made to either of the two organizations.
