He was loved and cherished by many people including : his son Lawrence (Nicole Ashley); his grandchildren, Rhett and Ryley Ashley; his siblings, William Ashley, Agnes Phelix and Patty Ashley; his wife Barbara; his siblings, Wayne, Chester, Ida Greenwood and Anna LaVack; and his parents, William and Winnifred Barrigar Ashley. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
