He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Collins and Livina Collins (Fitchett). He is survived by: his wife Julia Collins; his sons, Michael Matthew Collins (Paulina) and John Nicholas Collins (Emmalia); his grandson William Michael Collins; and his siblings, Kathleen Collins, Noreen Monteforte and John Collins.
