Maureen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maureen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Maureen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her son Joseph. She is survived by: her husband Charles; her sons, John (Colleen) and Michael; and her siblings, Michael Heenan (Michele Trovato), John Heenan (Vivian LoCasio) and Peggy Heenan-Fricano (Doug Yagilowich). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles J. O'shea Funeral Homes (603 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. Frances de Chantal R. C. Church (1309 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793).
