We announce the death of Eleanor (MeMe) Willson of Troy, New York, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Flubacher and Lena Flubacher; her sister Gertrude Flubacher Therrien (Bill); and her brothers-in-law, John Wiegner and William Therrien.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald F. Willson; her children, Jan Dolan Sr. (Pete), Gerry Willson (Deb), Craig Willson (Julie) and Eric Willson (Laurie); her grandchildren, Peter Dolan Jr. (Katherine), Zachary Dolan (Rachael), Samantha Keenan (Kyle), Gerald Willson Jr. (Sydney), Christopher Willson (Kaitlyn), Luke Willson of Salisbury, MA, Zoë Willson (Cam), Clifton Park, Brendan Willson and First Lieutenant Max Willson (Kelsey) of Albuquerque, NM; her sibling Shirley Flubacher Wiegner (John); and her siblings-in-law, John Willson (Pat), James Willson, Robert Willson (Martha), David Willson (Cindy) and Margaret'Peg' Hughes (Patrick). She is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Church (175 Williams Rd, Troy, NY 12180). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
