With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Schaeffer of North Greenbush, New York, born in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Schaeffer and Ethel Rumberger; and his daughter Cynthia Schaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Geiger Schaeffer; his children, Stacy, Tamara, James Jr. Schaeffer, Susan Kane, Deborah Backus and Robert; his children-in-law, Dawn Schaeffer and Patrick Pierce; his grandchildren, Jamie Turner (Shawn Fleming), Katelyn Monforte (Kristopher), Erin Job, Alyssa Fisher (Robert), Brianna, Ciera Pierce, Rebecca, Nichole Schaeffer, Emily and Louis; his great grandchildren, Landon Fleming, Peyton Lee and Krossifixio Monforte; and his brothers, Leonard Schaeffer and Rodney Schaeffer (Elaine).
