He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Bunny" McCormick; and his siblings, Joanne Almeter, Janet George and Tom McCormick. He is survived by: his children, Laura Evans (Donnie), Daniel Jr. and Tina Pelonero (Joe); his grandchildren, Dustin Evans (Jennifer), Breanna, Madison, Alexa and Zachary Pelonero; and his great grandchild Carson Evans. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Neumann (991 Centerline Rd, Strykersville, NY 14145). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
