Sharlene R. Freebern Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharlene R. Freebern of North River, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Amell and Hilda Amell (Moulton); and her siblings, Edward Amell and Carol Billings. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Mike" Freebern of North River; her son Brian Freebern (Theresa Welch) of North River; her siblings, Leona Bibby (Bill) of North River and Glen Amell of Johnsburg; and her siblings-in-law, Judy McConnell of Chestertown, Sharon Wells of North River and Reginald Freebern (Roxanne) of North River. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the North River Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
