He is survived by: his wife Patti Evans Bowen; his children, Dawn Schwind of Walworth, NY and Craig Bowen (Peggy) of Youngsville, NC; his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Spurlock of Bainbridge, NY; his grandchildren, Evan Schwind PhD (Rachel), Kyler Schwind (Lorna), Collin Bowen (Claire) and Ryan Bowen PhD (Galina); his great grandchild Bowen Schwind; and his pet Abbie.
