He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Franklin and Dortha Franklin; his brother John Franklin; and his daughter Tammy Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Janet Franklin of Margaret's Catholic Church; his daughter Kimberly DeRuby (Gerald); his siblings, Ben Franklin (Linda) and Cindy Phelps; and his grandchildren, Tara Furco (Jayson), Rachel DeRuby and Jacob DeRuby.
