It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M. Richards Jr. of North Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah J. Richards and Robert Richards Sr.; and his brother-in-law Owen Hanavan (Tiny). He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Richards (Hanavan); his daughters, Sara Richards and Kimberly Richards; his grandson Kobe Stenson; his brother Daniel Crough (Domenica); his brothers-in-law, James Hanavan and Patrick Hanavan; and his pets, Sadie and Griffey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
