He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Ken Richardson and Marion Richardson; his son Neil Richardson; and his sister Virginia Schafran.

He is survived by: his brother Gordon; his sons, Eric (Stephany) of Liverpool, Steven (Colleen) of Liverpool, Kurt Richardson (Sarah) of Liverpool, Paul Richardson (Margaret) of Camillus and Scott Richardson (Melissa) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, John, Stephania, Emily, Brian (Helena), Alex (Bridgette), Kyle and Caleb Richardson; his great grandchildren, Clyde, Everly and Kayden; his caregivers, Agnes, Brenda, Nathan and Lynne Humphrey; his brother Gordie; Dixie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
