Vera Kasouf Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Kasouf (North Syracuse, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Piselli and Loretta Piselli; her husband George Kasouf; her son Michael (Mary); her daughters-in-law, Michelle and Mary; and her siblings, Daniel Piselli, Anne Pluff, Geraldine Cua, Lucy DeSiato and Celia Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Vera; her brother Joey Piselli; her grandchildren, Michael, Danny, Jon, Nicole, Jenn and Joseph; and her great grandchildren, Joey, Vinny, Liam, Scarlette, Mason, Madelyn and Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home (209 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (8229 Brewerton Rd, Cicero, NY 13039).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jerry Riordan Scholarship Fund at Christian Brothers Academy, or a charity of your choice.
