He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Kathleen Merrow (Cuddy); his grandson David A. Merrow; his siblings, Edward Merrow, Robert Merrow and Cheryl Abrams; and his godson Samuel A. Piazza, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Merrow and Gina Husted, Jr. (Don); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Wojcik (Cameron), Donald Husted III, Dylan Husted, Aylssa Currier (John) and Christina Merrow; his great grandchildren, Brycen Cuny and Tyler Wojcik; his brother-in-law David Abrams; and his close friends, Joe, Joan Tumolo and Sharon Stark of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
