She was predeceased by: her parents, James Francis Samson and Sarah Beulah Minor Samson; her daughter Diane Lynne Peddycoart (Gina Lucia Balsamo); and her siblings, James Warren Samson, Dorothy Samson Reed and Patricia Samson Compton.

She is survived by: her son Mark. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren.
