With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Bernad (North Tonawanda, New York), who passed away on January 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Diane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Fruehauf and Claire Fruehauf; and her husband Joseph Bernad Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eva and Jack; her close friends, Florence (Flo), Denise, Barb and Janice; and her caregivers, Diane and Joe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara County SPCA.
