He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Joseph and Alice Mary Markovitz (Becker); and his wife Ellen Louise Wall. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Ortolf (James) and Patricia Maier (William); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Pappas, Jessica Ortolf-Pringle (Tom) and Orion Ortolf. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
