We announce the death of Dorothy S. (Swanson) DeVore (North Tonawanda, New York), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 94. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Swanson and Mable Swanson (Keen); her son Raymond DeVore; and her son-in-law Richard Barcik. She is survived by: her children, Robert DeVore (Ruth), Jane Barcik, William DeVore, James DeVore, John DeVore and Charles DeVore; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Samanka. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
