She was predeceased by: her spouses, Robert D. Hanes and Thomas E. Miranda; her grandson Tommy; her parents, John Rees and Alice Rees; and her brothers, Jack, Bill, Robert and Jim Rees.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Dawn), Michael (Kelly) and John Hanes (Lucia); her grandchildren, David (Wendy), Melissa (Mason), Samantha and Jessica; and her cousin Barbara Kennedy (Richard). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Florence may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
