He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schade and Ruth Schade. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schade; his children, Mark Schade, Paul Schade, Becky Beutel (Jon) and Rachel Gebauer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sarah Becken (Bradley), Chris Schade (Lauryn), Elizabeth Beutel, Emily Beutel and Jon Gebauer (Colleen); his great grandchildren, Vivian, Evelynn, Hunter, Jace and Harper; and his sisters, Diane Allen (Hollis) and Berna Schumacher (late David). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fretthold Funeral Home (1241 Oliver St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Sanborn, NY.
