The family announces the passing of John L. Bayer (North Tonawanda, New York) on September 20, 2026. John, born on January 30, 1930, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor John by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though John is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. John’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Bayer (Cook); his son Joel; and his siblings, Audrey Tracy of Orlando and Donald Bayer of Webster, N. Y.. He is survived by: his children, John (Sylvia Allen) of Rochester and Jeanne Bayer of Sanborn. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
