It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph G. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anthony, Raymond (Betty Lou), Earl (Jaqueline), Arlene Goerss (William), Arnold (Phyllis), Elizabeth Swogier (Stanley) and Vincent (Gail); and his parents, Vincent Beiter and Elizabeth Beiter.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna (Walsh); his children, Christopher Beiter (Leslie), Susan Hackel (Edward) and Craig Beiter (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sean (Kacie), Shannon, Allison, Joshua and Mara; his great grandchildren, Chase and Chloe; and his sister Rita Spoth (Lester). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home (242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Niagara Hospice or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
